YOUNG AND IN NEED OF FREE ACCESS TO CULTURE? JOBO WILL OBLIGE!

Madridslider

The Madrid Council has created JOBO (Joven Bono), a pass to make culture more accessible to the youth. So if you’re aged between 16 and 26, you can go to shows in the six major municipal cultural venues managed by Madrid Destino free of charge: Naves de Matadero, Teatro Español, Fernán Gómez – Centro Cultural de la Villa, Conde Duque, Teatro Circo Price and Cineteca.

This cultural pass is intended for young people, who aren’t exactly known to have deep pockets, to have free access to culture. It is meant to encourage the youth to develop awareness and critical thinking in regard to the performing arts, music and the living arts.

How, when and where
The abovementioned cultural centers set aside 25% of their tickets for JOBO which was first launched during the 23 October 2017 — December 2018 period.

You’re eligible for JOBO if you belong to the 16 — 26 age group. Register online at https://tienda.madrid-destino.com/es/?jobo=1 , or personally at the Casa de la Panadería in Plaza Mayor from 10:30 to 14:30 and from 16:30 to 20:30 Tuesdays through Sundays.
