Varvara is returning to Madrid with the illusion and determination to offer the best of herself. She will put all of her talent and
unending devotion to bring us close to the essence of the work and soul of the composer.
The director of the Festival of Vienna, Markus Hinterhaüser wrote about her: “Perplexed and wordless we listen to this girl make music…
She makes you forget her instrument, the highest praise we can give to a pianist.
Her career is having an extraordinary progression. The highlights of her 2016-2017 season include recitals in the Paris Philarmonic, the
Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan, in Prague, in the Saint Petersburg Marrinsky Hall and in the Pau Casals Festival
as well as tours with Vladimir Fedosséyev, Valerie Gergiev and the Marinsky Orchestra.
She will make her debut in China in June 2017.
The program includes the work of Bach, Beethoven and Mussorgsky. The artist has declared to La Filarmonica “I have a great desire
to reconnect with La Filarmonica public of which I have such a favorable memory. I love their program,
full of such opposing contrasts and nevertheless of which I feel so close.”
