THEATER

Gooood old entertainment in the new normal, social distancing, face mask and all. Five shows GUIDEPOST has chosen to help you ease into the Fall, when you’re in Madrid, with the feeling that this pandemic will not stay with us forever. And that we’re in fact one step ahead of it already even when the panorama looks bleak outside because of a looming Second Wave.

PLAYING IN OCTOBER 2020:

  • PARA HACER BIEN EL AMOR HAY QUE VENIR AL SUR [To Get It Right, You Have to Come to the South to Make Love*]
Musical: This is the first musical to be staged in Madrid since the theaters were shut down in March. The show, which is inspired by the songs of the hugely popular Italian singer, TV star and stage presenter, Rafaella Carrá, is bound to fill the autumn with music, humor, love and colorful optimism.

More than just a tribute to Carrà, “Para Hacer Bien El Amor Hay Que Venir al Sur” is a tribute to an entire generation (1970s-1990s and even early 2000s) who sang and danced to the beat of Rafaella Carrà’s catchy music. The show abounds in live music, original choreography, and lots and lots of fiesta vibes!

Cast: Patricia Arizmendi, Marta Arteta, Raquel Martín, Tamia Deniz, Miriam Queba, Mikel Hennet, Javier Enguix y Javier Toca
