TERUEL PAYS TRIBUTE TO THE BULLS IN ITS “FIESTAS DE LA VAQUILLA” »
The months of July and August in Spain are filled with fiestas, which initially commemorate the day of the local Patron Saint. In the case of the Aragonese city of Teruel which honors the Santo Angel Custodio, the celebration is combined with the local tradition of celebrating the Torico, the Bull, to which the city owes its name. The festivals and festivities of summer besides, there are lots of tourists attractions in Teruel, not least its wine and cuisine and the hospitality of the Turolenses, worth a visit any time of the year.
