Maine joined Colorado in barring Trump from the Primary Ballot in March. Other states are lined up to follow suit. But the former US president still leads in all the polls. . . Joe Biden’s immigration policies have become so unpopular that most question his bid for the Presidency in 2024. Wars are raging under his leadership. . . Still and all, we hope that the people will be able to choose their leader without interference and that wars in the world will cease.

Former US President Donald Trump was indicted last week for the fourth time on 91 federal and state charges in Fulton County, Georgia. The charges could lead to a potential maximum sentence of 717.5 years in prison. If Trump were convicted and sentenced to prison, that would not necessarily stop him from serving as president if he were reelected in 2024. He could pardon himself, although the legality of that is in question.
