Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez is set to go it alone if the European Union won't act as a united entity and recognize Palestine as an independent and soveriegn state. For Sánchez, a Palestine state is about the only guarantee for sustainable peace not only between biblical antagonists Israel and Palestine but in the region as well. In the 10 November 2019 snap election, Vox won no less than 15.09% of the vote. Overnight, it has become Spain’s third largest parliamentary party. Should Spain — and Europe — begin to worry?
