Harris polls even lower than Biden in a match against Donald Trump.

US President Joe Biden has resigned from his campaign for re-election on November 5th, 2024. He endorsed his vice-president, Kamala Harris, for the nomination of the Democrat Convention in the latter half of August.
Biden was diagnosed with Covid-19 last week and has received calls from more than 35 Democrat lawmakers for him to step aside from the race due to his health and advanced age, 81.
Harris has been vice-president under Joe Biden since 2021. She was District Attorney in California as well as Senator and the first African-American and Indian-American to hold the office of vice-president.
She is criticized for her failure to secure the Southern border and for her lack of knowledge of international affairs. She served in the Senate from 2017 to 2021.
Harris was quoted as saying, “I am honored to have the President’s endorsement, and my intention is to earn and win this nomination.”
Trump’s campaign noted, “Harris must defend the failed Biden Administration AND her liberal, weak-on-crime record in California.”
