It was a great way of kicking off the much-awaited summer, and definitely worth looking back on now that summer is tailing off.  In June more than 4,300 professionals and 350 national and international corporations gathered for the grand trade fair “Organic Food Iberia & Eco Living 2022”.

The fair, which was organised by IFEMA Madrid with Ecovalía’s sponsorship, was participated by 4.300 professionals in the sector. Three hundred twenty exhibitors from Andalusia, Castilla La Mancha, Extremadura, La Rioja, Navarra, Murcia and Valencia and 30 international companies hailing from Germany, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, France, Greece, Italy, The Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland, The U.K, and the USA made the fair quite an exciting event!

There were 150 products presented and awarded, including:
Algas La Patrona
Anecoop Fumets of marine lettuces
Cidrani Biome Micro drinks
Yoni Codillo de jamón ecológico

Learning, sampling and tasting new products, not least food and wine, and innovative solutions for marketing were on the extensive programme which went on for two full straight days.

Master Chefs Pablo Viñas, Ramón Martin, Manu Gómez, Miguel Angel Mateos and Marta Verona were the winners of the 6th Edition of Masterchef Spain.

The success of the trade fair and its numerous support in the sector, the diversified products, the all-out support for the “ecological” products, chefs, and restaurants amongst numerous others have caused an amazing stir in the movement of organic food and eco-living.
