Excellence begets honor and award. Here are some that Taberna LA BOLA has reaped so far:

>ALIMENTOS DE ESPAÑA a la Restauración, awarded by Spain’s Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment, 2012, for for the preservation of traditional Spanish cuisine.

>CHINA  OUTBOUND TOURISM QUALITY SERVICE CERTIFICATION (QSC),  a Quality Label given by the Ivy Alliance Tourism Consulting,  China’s leading tourism research and consulting firm. Ivy Alliance has been entrusted the government functions since 2015. Per tourism-generis.com, QSC aims at

“a. recommending quality and Chinese friendly tourism suppliers, to Chinese travelers and Chinese TOs and TAs,
“b. helping the Chinese travelers to choose a quality and Chinese friendly tourism supplier (hotel, travel agent, shopping center, attraction etc) abroad,
“c. supporting Chinese tour operators and travel agencies in their effort to cooperate with quality and Chinese friendly tourism suppliers abroad.”

>SAGAS HOSTELERAS Award,  given by the Federación Española de Hostelería, 2014, to honor families whose saga speaks of courage and constancy, generation after generation,  in the hostelry sector.

>Best Cocido, second Ruta del Cocido Madrileño

>Best Cocido Soup, third Ruta del Cocido Madrileño

>Most Traditional Cocido, fourth Ruta del Cocido Madrileño

>Best Chickpeas, sixth Ruta del Cocido Madrileño

>Ambassador of Asturian Gastronomy (Embajador Permanente de la Gastronomía) 2013, awarded by Asociación Hosteleria de Asturias
