Lavasa, India’s first planned hill city,will host a three day Food-Art-Music-Entertainment Festival (FAME 2014) from May 30 to June 01, 2014 making it a perfect time to be in the city. The festival promises an eclectic mix of art, live musical performances and global cuisine.
You’ll get your fill of great music at the three day fest from leading singers and bands the likes of Niladri Kumar, Agnee, Joe Alavrez Louis Banks & TSM Band, Fazal Qureshi (Tabla), Shefali Alvarez (Bollywood music), Rakesh Chaurasia (Flute), Ravi Chary (Sitar), Shibani Kashyap, and Mame Khan (Folk and Sufi).
DJ Randolph and DJ Ankytrixx will cover multiple genres ranging from EDM, Rock, Jazz, Opera, Classical, Sufi and String Quartet.
Music aside, famed artists will be displaying their art works and at the same time give the revelers an opportunity to appreciate and learn creative art and painting under their and other art teachers’ guidance.
Gioconda Vessichelli (Italian opera singer), Sharon Prabhakar, Tara Sutaria and Bharat Dabholkar are lined up for opera and theatre performances.
Also on enthusiastic offer are some of the best global cuisine prepared by leading chefs to titillate the palate – be it street food, finger food, live grills or sumptuous multi course meals. To add to this, folks will have a taste of the best domestic and international wines and beer brewed by local breweries.
Still not enough? Apart from this array of fun stuff the fest offers day-long shopping at the flea market, grape stomping and art and dance classes. MOREOVER, dozens of street entertainers will keep the visitors enthralled.
