In an era that extols high tech and high voltage worldwide communications, May 15th, can be singled out as on the most amazing Madrid holidays, possessing a distinctive character that evokes the love of Oxtail ( Rabo de Toro),  tapas and wines.

We are particulary delighted  to present the best of The Madrid Capital on this very special day.

THE PATRON SAINT OF MADRID,  ST. ISIDORE THE LABORER
Isidore, the farm laborer, also known as SAN ISIDRO LABRADOR, is known for his piety toward the  less
fortunate, poverty stricken  and animals. The Spanish word LABRADOR signifies worker
of  the  land. His full name was Isidro de Merlo y Quintana.
