La cremà at the Fallas
by GUIDEPOST
The incredibly “incendiary” Fallas de Valencia, a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, is now on. Interested?
You can still make it if you hurry. Main event: 15 – 19 March 2023
Watch the satirical ninots get torched without mercy at la cremà (the burning). Touched, many attendees shed quite a few tears watching the amazing works of gigantic art go up in flames. You too might.
But remember, there’s tons of fun to be had outside of the climactic bonfire at this unique street party. And we don’t mean just feasting on paella valenciana.

These 2023 ninots, currently exhibited at the Museo de las Ciencias
de Valencia, are candidates for pardon. The public votes for a
ninot and a ninot infantil to save them from the flames.
The “indultados”will form part of the museo fallero.
