RESTAURANT RUBAIYAT
Calle Juan Hurtado de Mendoza 37
Metroline 10 – Cuzco
Reservations Highly Suggested: 91. 359.1000
Rubaiyat’s Galician owners are perfectionists in regard to the quality of their raw materials.
Rubaiyat consists of 3 restaurants, each specialising in their top shelf sector. Rubaiyat is known for its meat, similar to New York City’s Smith & Wollensky. Porto Rubaiyat is highly acclaimed for its fish and shellfish, and Baby Rubaiyat for its tapas and regional specialties, like Galician octopus, Iberian acorn fed ham, and grilled prawns.
They are all located in the same historic palatial building. However, each is a distinct restaurant with separate entrances, exit doors and superb multi lingual staff.
With an air of hedonism, Baby Rubaiyat has an amazingly lovely open air terrace. Packed full during evening hours, I highly suggest reservations.
There is also a lovely bar, inside the trilogy.
