EUROPE: FROM SCHOOL TO SHINING SCHOOL

Education

Did you know? The U.S. Department of State provides assistance to 194 overseas schools through direct
and
indirect support programs designed to promote an American-style curriculum
similar to that of U.S. college-preparatory private independent
schools’. A diploma from these schools is a ticket
to American universities
.
Here’s a partial list of these schools in Europe.

International Peace Day Celebration, 21 September 2013: spearheaded by senior students at the American International School of Vienna, 800 pencils with Peace One Day embossed on them supported a pinwheel that each child made in school. The pinwheels will become part of the International Art Installation Project, Pinwheels for Peace. Since its inception in 2005, the project has grown to over 4 million pinwheels being created and planted annually, whirling messages of peace into the world.
