Life with my husband was an exciting time. We traveled by car, many times across the states and into Canada. We worked, and enjoyed life. Then one day, unexpectedly, my husband of almost 36 years died – and I was lost.Thank goodness for my brother John who guided me back to the land of the living. I booked a tour of a country I wanted to see: Spain, a place where I did not speak the language. I loved exploring all of the country and when I left that first time, I knew I would return, and I did.

One very brave member of  The Other Team ventured ask if it would be at all appropriate and possible to actually join them in their nightly gatherings. The wonderfully gracious tea-sippers acquiesced. The immediate effect was a brighter, happier crew, and lasting friendships too.

Visually, it's idyllic though windy. It's up in the Xistral Mountains of Galicia. And it's got the cheapest electricity in Spain because the municipal mayor thought it was time the people benefited from all the energy that was being generated by the windmills they're having to live with. That's Muras for you!
