For the week from the 13th to the 18th of April
MONDAY: Bring & Buy Sale at the Club
TUESDAY: Handcrafts and Patchwork Group met up, alongside the Mahjong crowd. In the afternoon the Canasta folk met.
THURSDAY: Bridge. Same day, visit to the Thyssen Museum to view the Raoul Dufy exhibit, as well as Country Line Dancing. In the evening AWC member Lynne Friedman inaugurated her first photo exhibit on Calle Serrano.
FRIDAY: Book Sale
SATURDAY: Book and Chili Sale at the Clubhouse.

For the week from the 20th to the 24th of April
WEDNESDAY: Annual General Meeting and Social Meeting. “Sevillanas” dancing class followed, then Andalusian-style lunch.
THURSDAY:  Bridge, as well as Tea Tasting Event at Beatriz Gallego’s place.
FRIDAY: Hartbeeps Baby Rock Café for Mom & Tots music, with play group for babies from 7 months old to 5 years. Also Wine & Tapas Girls’ Night Out at the Clubhouse.

From the 27th to the 30th of April
MONDAY: Bridge
TUESDAY: Handicrafts and Patchwork Group meets up alongside the Mahjong crowd. Canasta group meets later.
WEDNESDAY: Nina has thought up a new idea, a buffet for a limited first-come-first-served group. Contact the Club for details: 91-457-1108 or 636 863 923.
THURSDAY: Bridge and, later, Country Line Dancing.
FRIDAY- Clubhouse closed for Labor Day holiday.

SPRING FLING FUNDRAISER DANCE!
When: Saturday night, May 23, 2015, 8 pm.
Where: Gimnasio Team Sport, calle Campomanes, 53 28223 Pozuelo de Alarcón
Dress code: Informal
Cost: €20 per AWC member and spouse. €25 per non-member

AWC says:

Put on your dancing shoes and flowery shirts and come prepared to do some serious dancing! AWC will provide soft drinks, beer, wine, and cava. If you prefer something stronger, BYOB and use our mixers. Since our main purpose is to raise money as well as have a great time, we are asking that anyone willing and able to please bring a dish of finger food to supplement the food we provide. Please indicate what food you might be able to bring and also whether you need to car-pool. Be on the lookout for the ticket sales to begin at the Clubhouse, as the space is limited to a maximum of 70.
The music will be handled by DJ Arturo, whom many of you met when he was DJ for a party at the Club last year.

This is AWC’s BIG EVENT in May.
