A SECOND OPINION: Musk Finds Waste, Fraud and Abuse in US Government Finances

Elon Musk, the tech billionaire US President Donald J. Trump has tasked with finding waste, fraud and abuse in government spending, has certainly done his job.
–
As head of the new Department of Government Efficiency instituted by Trump, Musk and his team have uncovered a plethora of wasteful spending in US government agencies.

Musk’s suggestions towards reducing spending have been put into practice through executive orders by Trump.

Most controversial of these has been the closure of the USAID department that funded programs in foreign countries.

Critics say that foreign aid to developing nations was needed to stop Russia and China from filling in the gap.

The Democrats have been up in arms over Musk’s influence in government policy, saying that no one elected him to be the President’s top advisor.
–
But that argument doesn’t hold water as the President has the right to choose his Cabinet and whoever he wants to advise him.

You would think that there would be a bi-partisan effort to reduce the US deficit from an astronomical $37 trillion dollars, but the Democrats are still on an anti-Trump rampage.

Musk: “He believes in Make America Great Again” agenda”

Elon Musk doesn’t need the job at hand and is doing it without compensation just because he believes in Trump’s “Make America Great Again” agenda.

Musk is going to tackle the Defense Department and the Internal Revenue Service next.
